Getting Started

The hardest part about starting anything is getting started. As simple as it sounds, it’s still that first step that’s the hardest. No matter the size of the task, if you made up an excuse not to do it today, chances are that you’ll make another excuse not to do it tomorrow either. Worst thing is that often we really want to start, but it just doesn’t happen.

The first step to succes is simply:

Make a commitment to act!

Make this commitment to yourself. Set yourself a goal and act on it today. Write it down  on a paper, or even better publish it. Twitter it. Post it as a comment to this blog. it doesn’t matter how you do it, but get the feeling that you’ve committed yourself to not only starting, but completing your goal.

I will make the following commitment to myself today:

“For the next 30 days, I will write a new blog post every day.”

I will do this. No excuses.

What will you commit to today?
