Today I had planned to write a post on online fame. About what it’s worth and whether it’s worth it to your online business to pursue it. This is not that post and here’s why:
It came to my attention that today is Anthony Robbins 50th Birthday. I actually got an email from him telling me that due to it being his birthday, he’d made me a present. It was a 3-minute inspirational, Hollywood-style, goose bump producing video called “Powerful Beyond Measure” about what you can achieve, if you make a decision and make it well.
Positive thinking and a strong belief in yourself and your business is necessary in order to keep the steam up and keep going through the tough times, through the challenges that you’ll meet, until you’ll find the success that you’re striving for.
In order to keep this positive energy going, we need to see results, some kind of sign that we’re on the right track. In a recent blog post, I argued that we need to compliment others, make people feel appreciated in order to build our mental health and find personal happiness. This builds on reciprocity and the notion that if you put something positive out in the world, you’ll receive something positive back.
Whatever your business you actions influence people. Your actions blogging and your writings on Facebook or Twitter have the possibility of influencing people in a positive way. Feed of this positive energy to keep going, to stay on course and keep that laser beam focus on your set goal.
You’ve decided to go there, now make it so.
